Carving out a new path with creativity and avant-garde performances
Yeung Chun-to – In what world do you think it’s a good idea?
Have you ever looked at an artist and wondered, “but why?” This semi-autobiographical musical experience looks at the unique mental wiring of an artist and the chaos of the creative industry. Through a lively blend of jazz, hip-hop and witty lyrics, we peek into a world of split personas, feelings of imposter syndrome, outbursts of productivity, long stretches of uninspired work, the psychological tug of war between appearing too shy and appearing too arrogant, and the ever-present question, “In what world do you think it’s a good idea?”
“Chun-to's piece is a chaotically energetic performance in all the right ways, and will definitely take the audience for a ride in his creative mental wiring as an artist.” — Dominic Lee
Cecilia Lau – Fight or Flight
After the fight in Communal Solitude in July 2025, it’s time to continue our journey. The flight is about to take off, but where shall our next destination be? If you had the chance to explore any uncharted territory, where would you go?
And now, as tears subside, let’s pack our bags, answer the final boarding call and find our own ways.
Leanne Jackson – Where Dreams Take Flight
For this performance, local musical theatre performer Leanne Jackson, who sings in multiple languages, will team up with acclaimed drummer and producer FRE$H to share her inspiring journey of dream chasing, from discovering childhood dreams to pursuing her passion in life.
